APC Will Ensure Stable Economy—Kwara Speaker
The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Barrister Razak Atunwa says the All Progressives Congress remains the only formidable Party capable of ensuring a stable and virile economy in the Country.
Barrister Atunwa stated this in Ilorin while featuring on a Radio Kwara Political Programme, 'spotlight'.
He also assured of a complete revamp of the education sector, infrastructural development, stable electricity and other developmental strides that would return the Country to the path of progress.
The Speaker said the assurance was expedient considering the track record of achievement, proven integrity and commitment of all the candidates of the party to impacting positively on the wellbeing of the People, and called on those in the opposition to join the train.
Barrister Atunwa who is also the Director-General of Mandate 2015 APC Campaign organisation described the resounding victory of the party in the just concluded elections as a glaring evidence of the presence of the party in the state.
He commended the People for their unflinching and usual support to the Party and enjoined them to come out enmasse to vote for Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed and other candidates of the party contesting for the State House of Assembly on Saturday to pave way for continuity of good governance and sustainable progress in the state.
On his stint as the Speaker, Barrister Atunwa who also emerged victorious in the National Assembly elections to represent Ilorin-West/Asa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives attributed the success to the high level of discipline, accountability and thoroughness enthrenched in the House.
He explained that though there were resistance at the onset, but the collective responsibility of its members, political structure and concern for the plight of the people informed all the notable bills passed and level of decorum witnessed in the state.
Barrister Atunwa therefore promised to use his new office to work for the Wellbeing of his people and join hand to make laws for the benefit of the generality of the people.
