Ugwuanyi hopeful of successful elections

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Enugu State, Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has expressed optimism that the Saturday Presidential and National Assembly elections would be successful.

Ugwuanyi who spoke yesterday as he cast his vote at his Amube Ohum polling centre in Orba, Udaenu LG of Enugu State, at exactly 3:05 pm, also expressed hope that President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP would emerge victorious.

His words: ” I pray for the country, the PDP and all the candidates of our party, including myself to be victories in these elections. I also pray that the exercise will be peaceful and successful in order to unite the country the more for our great party to continue to deliver on its promises for the overall interest of our people. And I am optimistic that God will do it for us”.

Ugwuanyi who hailed the peaceful manner the electorates conducted themselves in the polling boot, thanked his supporters for coming out en mass to vote for the PDP candidates in the elections.

He admonished them to ensure that they are role models across the country where elections are peaceful, credible, free and fair.
