Nollywood ace actor, OC Ukeje, whose knack for interesting roles and his handsome face got him so much love and affection in the entertainment industry, especially from the opposite sex recently broke the hearts of many when he married his girlfriend, Ibukun Togonu in a private ceremony in Lagos.

The award winning actor confessed that the news of his marriage got so many women riled up as he received lots of hate messages because of it.

“I got so many hate messages from female fans. We get messages like that every day but you do not know who is serious and who is joking. I just take all of them at face value and move on because at the end of the day, they are just fans,” he said.

Although his wife is based in Canada, he said that it is not an issue, as they had earlier thought about that before they walked down the aisle.

“I cannot complain. Things are off on a good start. I am a happy man and I intend to stay like this for the rest of my life and I think my wife has made an honest man out of me. We spoke about the distance between us before we got married. It is something that must be addressed. I do my best to stay faithful to the one that I decided to remain faithful to for the rest of my life. We do our best to stay in touch with each other every day so that we would know what we are up to. We make sure we stay in constant touch with each other,”

'The Department' star actor also spoke on the possibility of divorce,“God is the most important factor to put in place first. If you have an agreement with God and pick the right woman in your perspective, then nothing can go wrong. I don't know how people choose their spouses but I chose my partner for many good reasons and I am happy with it. Asides from staying faithful, I remember that I am an actor when I am acting and I am a husband also. I set aside all my ego and accomplishment and we make sure that our marriage must work. Those are the only things you need to put in place."
