A meeting with various political parties in Adamawa State organised by the state police command yesterday, the Commissioner of Police Gabriel Adaji has yesterday read riot act to political parties against fomenting trouble adding the police will deal with anyone who foment trouble regardless of his societal standing ahead of the 2015 general elections.

The commissioner of police who took time to explained and read the riot act to political stakeholders, leadership of the various political parties in the state were all in attendance except All Progressives congress (APC) warns the politicians to prevail on their followers to desist from fomenting trouble as he will not only deal with the supporters but will also get at their God fathers.

He said although Adamawa politicians have not given him any doubt their compliance with the Riot Act,but would not take it kindly with any politician that want to go in the way of criminal as the cell is readily for them and are to face the wrath of the law.

According to him,from records Adamawa politicians have no record of political thuggery,and efforts should be made by them to sustain the good record of a thuggery general elections,hence the need for politicians to warn their supporters against the breach of the peace.

" You should therefore warn your supporters against may hem.Appeal to them to conduct the electioneering campaigns with this sterling warning in mind,or else the wrath of the law will catch up with them",he warned

Every politician must hearken to the rules and regulations governing the activities before, during and the conduct of the elections,

"It is only somebody who is bereft of ideas that will fight.

"Issue of thuggery,insult,and destruction of posters of opponents will not be condone,"the commissioner warned.

Gabriel said every Nigerian has a role to play towards making the forthcoming general elections successfully conducted,as they could not be held peacefully in an atmosphere of rancour,upheavals .

He was emphatic that security operatives are ready for the conduct of the eleecttion including thee northern parts of the state,saying that, "our duty is to protect lives and ensure hitch free exercise,so we are ready and it lies with the electoral body INEC,that whether elections should hold in the northern parts of thee state or not,"he pointed out.
