PDP Says Ambode Picked To Cover Tinubu, Fashola Looting In Lagos

The lagos State PDP has declared the APC governorship candidate in Lagos

State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, as an accomplice who aided the criminal

conversion of funds and property belonging to the state.

The Party claimed in a statement signed by its spokesman, Mr. Taofeek Gani

that for sometime, it had been investigating and collating the major

frauds in the state government and its preliminary report has already

indicted Ambode as the actual person who covered up most of the

embezzlement and breach of public trust in the government of Bola Tinubu

and until he retired as accountant general in 2012 under very

controversial circumstances.
According to PDP the details of the overwhelming evidence indicting Ambode

in the several offences will be released to the public soon.

Meanwhile, the PDP says the areas it beamed it's searchlight included

amongst others: The creation and operations of Alpha Beta; the diversion

of civil servants allowances and bonuses; the diversion of monies meant

for the failed ENRON electrification project; the diversion of 65% of

funds approved for sports festival; diversion of LG funds released by

President Obasanjo and Yaradua.
Others include collection of N9Billion from LASU grants; stealing from the

roads and bridges purportedly constructed; diversion of funds in the

abandoned light rail project; diversion of funds in the Lekki Free Trade

Zone project; collection of the profits realisable in the BRT/LAGBUS

project; conversion of the Capital and Profits in the then ECONET wireless

shares; stealing of monies meant for Pensions.
Also, diversion of funds in the pool of the Lagos State Security trust

Fund; conversion of two Helicopter Choppers now in Niger Delta region;

stealing of lagos Yacht; collection of international loans using LASG as

front; take over of LASPOTECH premises and turning to personal Estate;

take over of 5 LG council secretariats; take over of the states nursing

school; indeed there are many take over of private landed property across

the state in the last fifteen years.
Consequently, the PDP has impressed on lagosians to reject Ambode and his

Party as a vote for Ambode will mean that these frauds will be covered up.
