Edo Majority Leader Intensifies Campaign For National Assembly Seat.

The majority leader of the Edo State House of Assembly Hon. Philip Shaibu has taken his campaign rally to all the wards in the three Etsako Local government area that makes up his constituency with mammoth crowd including the senatorial candidate for Edo North Barr. Francis Alimikhena. The majority leader uses the opportunity to reveal his legislative plan for the people of Etsako federal constituency. Hon Shaibu who is the APC candidate to represent the Afemai people at the House of Representative in the forth coming February 14th general election stated this in Jettu in Etsako west local government area. The law maker who describe himself as Mr Contituency project also mention some of his major achievement as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly to include defending the interest of the afemai people despite the influence, attack and mouth watering offere of 100,000000 by the PDP for him to defect from the All Progressive Congress APC. An offer which he claim to reject in the best interest of the afemai people. Other achievement mention include the Construction of 42 blocks of classroom in various schools, construction of major market building in Fugar, portable water projects, scholarship, various forms of empowerment among others. He also promise to make government more accessible by making young people to participate in the political process. According to him, I will ensure economic development, infrastructural development and give out revolving leon to the afemai farmers and traders. I will make laws for the benefit of Etsako people. I will make the presence of the federal government visible in our communities and villages by attracting federal institutions and industries to our people. I will not betray your confidence at the National Assembly he added.

While canvassing suport for the APC presidential candidate General Muhammadu Buhari and Barrister Francis Alimikhena the Edo North APC senatorial candidate in the forth coming election. Hon Shaibu said “ APC will work towards a nation that is economically and socially vibrant, peaceful, just and secure. A nation where all citizens can earn a respectable living, provide for their families and contribute to the betterment of their communities. The majority leader who was the former president of the National Association of Nigeria Student (NANS) promise to make Education his major priority by offering scholarship to Etsako student in higher institutions. His words “ I was once a union leader therefore I know your pains as a student. I will represent your interest and be your voice. He call on the Edo North people to unite together to abort the reign of PDP out of Edo State. He describe Francis Alimikhena as a father who consider all Edo North people as his greatest assets. Alimikhena is a community builder, vibrant and resourceful personality . The majority leader maintain that APC is the most veritable platform to bring the problem of insecurity, and poverty that has bedeviled this nation over the years to an end.
