“Buhari Is An Enemy To Those Who Steal Government Money” – Rochas Okorocha Speaks As Buhari Takes Campaign To Abia, Ebonyi

BEVERLY HILLS, January 09, (THEWILL) – The Presidential campaign train of the All Progressive's Congress (APC) moved today 9 January, 2015 to Ebonyi and Abia states – with the candidate, Muhammadu Buhari.

The campaign which kicked off Tuesday 6 January at the Adokiye Amieseimaka Stadium, Igwuritali-Ali in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Port Harcourt state, led by APC Presidential Candidate Muhammadu Buhari and his running mate Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has continued full speed onto the states of Cross River, Imo, Delta, Edo and Bayelsa through the course of the week.

The delegation arrived at Aba in Abia State, where a rally was held. The event which was anchored by Honourable Abike Dabiri-Erewa, featured speeches from dignitaries such as former governor of Anambra State, Dr. Chris Ngige, Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, and APC National Chairman John Oyegun.

Speaking at the event in Aba, Abia State, the first Executive Governor of Abia State, Ogbonnaya Onu, stressed to the crowd the importance of voting in the APC to bring about positive change in the state and country as a whole. “We cannot afford to put all our eggs in one basket,” he said, going on to describe the PDP as “a doctor that has been unable to treat an infection for 16 years.”

Presidential Candidate Muhammadu Buhari also made known his commitment towards provision of infrastructure, particularly power, in order to rejuvenate the economy of Aba.

Meanwhile General Buhari paid a courtesy visit to HRMajesty Ezei A Ikonne Enyi of Aba who named him as Muhammadu Okechukwu Buhari and also conferred the title Ogbuagu 1 (the Lion-Killer) of Aba on him.

Also present at the rally was Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, who took to the stage, describing the Presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari as “an enemy to those who steal government money.”

The campaign train has moved on to Abakaliki in Ebonyi State.
