Adamawa 2015 Polls: A mammoth crowd gave Ribadu a rousy welcome , As Ngillari assures him of his total support

The alleged imposition of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu's candidacy is turning into a more support than hatred as many people calculated it to be as people in hundreds were in the premises of Yola international airport to welcome Nuhu back to the state in other to kicks start his campaign tour for 2015 general elections.

Governor Bala James Ngillari of Adamawa state who initially one of the aspirants but decided to go solo for Ribadu's success and endorsed his candidature pledging his government's support to it.

While receiving Ribadu at the Government house Yola, Ngillari said

that he will rally round Ribadu's candidature in order to ensure the

victory of the PDP come 2015 general elections and to ensure that the

party remains in power.
Ngillari said he received the candidature of Ribadu as a divine

providence and in good faith adding that with a well entrenched person

like him, it will not be difficult for the party to retain its seat

come 2015 general election in the state.
“As a party member, one has to take anything that comes in good faith

and therefore we are going to work together to ensure victory in the

forth coming election,” Ngillari said.
He expressed confidence that the stakeholders of the party will not

afford the party to lose the government house as he said it is the

party with the right manifesto that will give the masses a better

deal.
Speaking earlier, Ribadu promised to carry all aggrieved members of

the party alone for the success of the party in 2015.

“As for me, all PDP aspirants and other members of the party are

equal. People know me as a hard working person and I will use my

wealth of experience to transform the state if elected in 2015.

“I am therefore calling on the party members to forget the past for

the success of the party,”
He disclosed that he had since started making contact and

consultations with other stakeholders that might have been aggrieved

on the need to sheath swords and rally support for the PDP victory,

“This is a family affair and our main aim is to develop the state in

whatever capacity we could.
“We are in the spirit of development and will work harder for the

success of the party,”
He commended the governor for his faith in the party adding that as

the leader of the party in the state he has confidence that Ngillari
