New Year: Adeyeye urges Nigerians to be more prayerful

The Minister of State for Works, Prince Adedayo Adeyeye has urged Nigerians, especially Ekiti people to remain prayerful and be hopeful for better deal from God in 2015, adding that; “In this New Year, Nigeria will be better transformed and all the forces militating against the progress of the country will be put to shame.”

In his New Year message, the Minister thanked the people of Ekiti State for their support for the State Governor, Ayodele Fayose and President Goodluck Jonathan, saying that he was particularly happy that the people of Ekiti State used their voted to install their own government.

He called on Nigerians to remain faithful and supportive of the Dr Goodluck Jonathan-led federal government, the Minister saying; “In spite of all the challenges of 2014, there is hope and assurance that our challenges as a nation are not insurmountable, and it is sure that all those issues that give us concerns as a people will fizzle out this New Year.”

“I therefore wish to congratulate the entire people of Nigeria and Ekiti State in particular for seeing this New Year in good health and it is my prayer that the good Lord will make the year a prosperous one for us all.

While expressing his gratitude to God for His mercies in 2014, Adeyeye noted that; “in all things, God must be praised and we must continue to give glorify His name.”
