2015: AYear of Marching Out (1)
This is your year of marching out! When you pray, hear from God and receive clear directives and assurances, then it will be the time to move, take actions.
It is very important to understand and assimilate this principle because a lot of people fail at this point. They know the target, they fast and pray and even sometimes get directives on what to do, but unfortunately, they don't take the steps to actualize the goal or vision. Now, in battles it could be suicidal to make such blunder. In winning life challenges, you must know the time to wait, time to retreat and also the time to move forward. The bible said that there is time for everything. There is a time to pray and also the time act. And if you have followed what we have been discussing, this is your time to act, to move out; to implement the plan you received for your victory. You cannot afford not to march out now! Action please!
After Jehoshaphat's very powerful and historical supplication, the Spirit of God came and assured them of victory, telling them that He had taken over the battle, and marshaled out the battle plan He also commanded them to march out against the enemies the next morning. Wow! Couldn't He have gone over to the enemy's camp with His angels, as usual, and killed them all? Or send some strange objects to crush them? Yes, He could, but chose to tell them to march out. And not just marching out, but they must march out tomorrow morning towards the ascent of Ziz. Listen here:
“Tomorrow, march out against them. You will find them coming up through the ascent of Ziz at the end of valley that opens into the wilderness of Jeruel. But take your positions: then stand still and watch the LORD's victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out there tomorrow, for the LORD is with you!” 2 Chronicles 20:16-17 In divine assisted warfare there is so much power in movement. That's when you move in obedience to God directives and plan. When you move, God mobilizes the forces of heaven to assist you. He goes ahead of you, with you and behind you. When God tells you to move, He goes ahead of you to clear off the obstacles and oppositions on the way. He doesn't leave you to go alone. Yes, you might not see Him or feel anything, but He is there with you because you are carrying out His interest. He told Jehoshaphat and his people to march out in the morning, take their positions and see the wonders He would do. Note that He did not disclose to them what and how He will do it, but that they should take their positions and watch what He would do.
This is God's way. Most times He does not tell us in details what He will do or how He will do it. He just wants you to believe, trust and follow Him in obedience. He wants you to trust that He will favour, provide and protect you. He wants you to trust that He will never fail you, no matter what. He wants you to trust and totally relax in His hands as a baby would in its mother hands. He moved farther than that when He said that even if mothers will forsake their babies that He will not forsake nor abandon you! Praise God! Now, as He told Jehoshaphat, I tell you, tomorrow march out against those enemies in the name of the LORD. Tomorrow, go and begin that project. Tomorrow, march out with that vision. Move now for the LORD has given them into your hands! Happy New Year!
