PHCCIMA END OF YEAR DINNER PARTY AND KEEP PH CLEAN & GREEN ROAD WALK SLATED FOR 21st & 20th DECEMBER RESPECTIVELY

As part of programmes to officially mark its year ending activities, Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce Industry, Mines and Agriculture, PHCCIMA, will be putting together two key events; the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce End of Year Dinner Party, and the PHCCIMA Keep Port Harcourt Clean and Green Partnership Road walk in collaboration with the National Youth Service Corpse, NYSC.

According to a release made available to the press and signed by the Director General, Erasmus Chukunda, the End of Year Dinner Party holds on the 21st of December 2014 , at the prestigious Grace Event Center, Evo road, GRA Phase 2 - (opposite Pepperoni), off Olu Obasanjo road in Port Harcourt, by 7.00pm prompt, while the PHCCIMA Keep Port Harcourt Clean and Green Partnership Road walk in collaboration with the National Youth service Corpse, NYSC is expected to hold on December 20th 2014 with the take off point, PHCCIMA Secretariat by 8.am prompt.

The End of year Party like the first edition is expected to thrill members and their guest with gospel and Christmas rendition spiced up with pockets of comedy and Nigerian music acts. The exciting event laced in colour, pomp and pageantry is the second in the series in the history of PHCCIMA and shall bring together valuable members of the chamber to unwind, network, dine and present opportunities for members to see up close, renew old ties and discuss in an atmosphere of merriment.

Highlights of the event includes presidential awards and recognition of some special individuals and corporate organization who has excelled in their various endeavours and had contributed immensely to the PHCCIMA success story.

Similarly, the PHCCIMA Keep Port Harcourt Clean and Green Partnership Road walk in collaboration with the National Youth service Corpse, NYSC was put together by the Entrepreneurship, Empowerment and Sports Directorate of the chamber. Surv Emmanuel Ogbonda the Director of EES trade group explained that the objective of the keep fit event is to advance the gains of physical activities with a view to promoting a healthy life style and business networking; adding also that the event shall institutionalize the ethics of corporate social responsibility, create an avenue of giving back to society through charity and most importantly build sustainable synergy between PHCCIMA and the business environment.
