Fake Corper in Police net over alleged forgery

The Enugu state command of the Nigeria Police Force have arrested one Henry Emeka Onyekwere of Ihube Okigwe Imo state  who claimed to be residing in Ghana and also graduated from Abia state University Uturu with the Department of Industrial Physics for forgery and impersonation.


He  was apprehended by the operatives of the Nigeria police Force  at the National youth service corps orientation camp in Awgu  for allegedly stealing an NYSC Tag and using same to produce his own tag with the same tag number 1614.


It was further gathered that the photographs in his alleged call up letter as presented was quite different from the one in the system of the NYSC orientation camp.


On his part,suspect maintained that he actually got in to Abia state University  in Uturu between 2010-2013 where he graduated under the Department of Industrial physics.


He stated  that he was not called up to be in orientation Camp at Awgu hence he stole a tag from a corper member from where he did a tag for himself to enable him have a free access in the camp   and in order not to be pushed out of the orientation camp.


He confirmed that he came to the  orientation camp with a call up letter that is different from the one in the NYSC system at the orientation camp in Awgu adding that he has stayed up to three days in the camp before he was arrested.
