Power Africa Coordinator Andrew M. Herscowitz Presents on Business Opportunities in Sub-Saharan Africa at Conference in Atlanta

WASHINGTON, November 5, 2014/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- Power Africa Coordinator Herscowitz will participate in a plenary session on Power Africa and Infrastructure Opportunities at the Discover Global Markets Business Forum Series on Sub-Saharan Africa hosted by the U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration and the Georgia District Export Council. The conference is designed for U.S. executives who wish to explore export market development strategies in the emerging markets of Sub-Saharan Africa. Panels will feature high-ranking government officials and U.S. commercial diplomats posted at U.S. Embassies throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as business leaders from the private-sector.

Power Africa is a U.S. government initiative focused on decreasing poverty and advancing economic growth by adding more than 30,000 megawatts of cleaner, more efficient electricity generation capacity in Sub-Saharan Africa through partnerships with African governments, the private sector, and other partners.
