2015 ELECTION: NUIG CALLS FOR A STRENGTHEN ISOKO NATION

Ahead the fast approaching 2015 general election, National Union of Isoko Graduates' (NUIG) Worldwide has called for a strengthen Isoko by son and daughters saying it's the bedrock for growth and development of the land.

Comr. Avinyeze Peter Oghenebrozie made the call weekend in Warri, while briefing Journalists on plans by the union to hold her maiden summit few weeks from now with the theme: “THE ISOKO NATION: PAST, PRESENT AND THE FUTURE.”

Avinyeze insisted that the Isoko people should not only watch, but should take charge in the vanguard of Nigeria socio-economic and political decision as major stakeholders in the interest of all.

“Plans are underway to honour Isoko sons and daughters who have impacted positively on the socio-economic, political, cultural and educational advancement of the Isoko Nation”, the president disclosed.

The Union, he said, is the autonomous umbrella body of all graduates formed as a pressure group and saddled with the responsibility of bringing all Isoko graduates in one fold for the growth and development of Isoko nation as well as promoting the welfare and interest of its members.
