2ND PLENARY SESSION OF THE NIGERIA-GERMAN BI-NATIONAL COMMISSION TO HOLD IN BERLIN, GERMANY

The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency, Ambassador Aminu Bashir Wali, mni, CON led the Nigerian delegation to the 2nd Plenary Session of the Nigeria-German Bi-National Commission which took place in Berlin, Germany, 20th-21stOctober, 2014. The Nigerian delegation comprised of top government officials including the Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Olusegun Aganga.

2. Issues discussed under the various Working Groups were energy, trade and Investment, education, culture, migration and support for Nigeria's counter-terrorism efforts.

3. It will be recalled that the inaugural session of the Bi-national Commission was held during the official visit of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, H.E. Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, to Berlin, Germany in April 2012.
