IMO DEPUTY GOV DONATES TRANSFORMER TO THE POLICE

Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere last Saturday donated a transformer with two Security Patrol vans to Mbieri Police Divisional Headquarters with the aim of assisting them to work effectively.

Prince Madumere made the donation during a security meeting in Achi Mbieri at the palace of HRH, Eze Henry Anoruo Madumere, which had the new DPO, Chine Hart and seven traditional rulers of seven Mbieri autonomous communities and other leaders in attendance.

Speaking at the meeting, Prince Madumere called on the traditional rulers and people to complement government's effort towards sustaining the peace and progress being experienced in Imo State by working the police and other security agencies. He emphatically expressed need for information flow between the people and the security agencies.

Continuing, he assured the people of his government's resolve to play whatever role to complement Governor Okorcha's role with a view to ensuring the sustenance of peace and freedom of the people.

He said the donation of transformer will go a long way to helping the police to function optimally while saving the heavy cost on petroleum products. he further said the two security patrol vans will aid the mobility of the police for the overall efficiency of the Division especially in times of emergency.

In the same vein, the African Personality of the Year averred that Mbieri Health Centre will also benefit from transformer. our health centre can now function optimally. The health centre is very strategic to our people. whatever we can do to keep operational. It is for the healthy living of our people, he enthused.

Prince Madumere also used the opportunity to advise stakeholders to the stay-away-from-crime message of the Rescue Mission government to their respective autonomous communities, which will attract ostracizing the defaulters and entering their names in the Imo Security Black File, when will forever recognize the person in history with all the negative connotations.

In response, the Chairman of Mbieri Council Traditional Rulers, HRH, Eze Peter Opara who spoke on behalf other traditional rulers commended Imo Deputy Governor for his five star performance in giving his people hope.

He also promised to continue in their effort in ensuring that their children inculcate the desired value system of the people.

Speaking further, he showered encomium on Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha led Government, which they said has remain focused in its effort to transform Imo State and therefore called for support for the people oriented Rescue Mission Government.
