The 4th Convocation ceremony of the Convenant University will hold Monday, June 15, 2009 at Cafetaria 2, Convenant University, Cannan Land, Otta, Ogun State.

A statement signed by the institution's Head of Corporate and Public Affairs, Emmanuel K. Igban, said the event will commence at 11am.

A programme of events released by the institution showed that the convocation lecture 1 would dwell on the topic: “Reconstructing the Nigerian Education Landscape: Road Maps for Driving Innovations and Developments in Universities”. The lecture would be delivered by former Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos, Professor Oye Ibidapo-Obe.

The second lecture would tackle the topic” Global Citizenry and Communication Pathways: Emerging Paradigms for Leadership and Nation Building” to be delivered by an International Media  Relations Consultant and Presenter of Turning Point(Christian Broadcasting Network), Dr Victor B. Oladokun.

The third lecture of the day, according to the release would be on “Bridging the Digital Divide: Action Points for Access and Capacity Building in Africa”Discussants include Professor James Katende, Dean, CST, Covenant University; Professor U.G. Dambatta, Vice President, Digital Bridge Institute; Mr Tim Akano, MD New Horizon Ltd; Mrs Florence Seriki, Managing Director, Omatek Computers PLC; Mr Val Obi, Managing Director,  eTrazact Ltd; and Mr Sean Lim, Vice President, EC Council, United States.
