EAGLET STARS CELEBRATE IN SYNAGOGUE CHURCH OF ALL NATION.
Success in anything requires a lot of input as anything short of bringing out your best in any situation can cost a lot more than was ever put in.
The game of football demands more than having a good talent and skills to thrill the world. It entails a lot of package which only few footballers have been able to unwrap in their carriers. For EMMANUEL SANNI and ONAZI OGENYI knowing good football alone won't do the trick is the beginning of wisdom for them.
At a glance, you would be hard pressed to understand why something, as simple as this could command a huge crowd of people. But it takes the will of God to celebrate icons.
Being an icon is a new dimension of success which always attracts the admiration of love one's and well wishers.
Yesterday was a brand celebration of two icons, SANI EMMANUEL and ONAZI OGENYI at the Synagogue Church of all Nations, which will be an unforgettable event to everyone that stormed the church. These Eaglet stars will always remembered.
The celebration was full of fun and excitement from the beginning to the end of the celebration .I tried to look at people's faces to see whether everyone was happy because sometimes we find ourselves smiling, where as some have different spells on their mind. But every face was filled with a smile.
This was the case with all the dignitaries that attended the Sunday service .I know many would ask “DIGNITARIES” don't be surprised to hear that because to GOD's house even the less privileged, orphans and widows are called.
The man of God {T.B JOSHUA} opened the occasion with a prayer and gave some words of wisdom to everyone to take home which was really food for thought. After this the Golden Boys gave some speeches and farewell messages to the congregation one after the other.
First of all they thanked almighty God for making it possible for PASTOR T.B JOSHUA, teammates {MY PEOPLE F.C} and the members, to support them with fasting and prayers.
The speeches went thus.
SUNDAY WORLD CUP SPEECH – SANI EMMANUEL
I am SANNI EMMANUEL. Number14 striker.
People of God, where can we go from His presence?
I want to say thank you for your prayers and support for the Under 17 World Cup. Although we did not win the Cup, in every situation God has something to say. God is still saying something.
I am here today to show you what God's ability can do. As we all know, going by what happened on the field, I am undeserving. Yet, by the grace of God, today I am the best Under 17 player, all over the world. Here are the golden ball and the silver shoe.
Don't forget that I was once a needy. I mean, I know what it is to be poor. I dedicate these awards to all the needy. I am going to start a foundation where scholarships will be given to the deserving ones and every proper means will be used to discover the talented – just as I was discovered by my father in the Lord, Prophet T.B. Joshua.
People of God, my documentary will speak better. I would like to leave the rest 'til I go to my future club.
Thank you once again for your prayers for the Under 17 World Cup. No matter what happens, God is still saying something.
Finally, I would like to have a meeting with the youth, hopefully before I go to my future club. The purpose of the meeting is:
To encourage the youth that there is hope. Jesus is the hope.
I, without strength, fast legs, smoothness of tongue, if it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone who believes in Jesus.
Remember, better is not good enough; the best is yet to come.”
After he finished his speech ONAZI OGENYI continued by saying,
“I am Onazi Ogenyi Number 4 – Midfielder.
We are here today to thank you all for your prayers and support around the world. Without repeating ourselves, my brother has more or less said it all. We shall leave the rest 'til we go to our future clubs.
Thank you again for your prayers and support for the Under 17 World Cup. We are here today to show you what God's ability can do.
As Emmanuel has said, we would like to have a meeting with the youth.
The time and date of the meeting will be announced in many news media, e.g. Emmanuel TV and every available channel. We shall consider those who would be coming from outside the country to give them enough time to come. God bless.

After their speech some of the EAGLETS that were around were given the privilege to say something it was not all of them that came. Some of them lived very far and the time limit never allow them to make it . The keeper of the U-17 team DAMI PAUL, thank the man of God and members of the SCOAN for their support and prayers, on behalf of his colleagues and later continued with his testimony which was really pathetic and touching.
Everyone is so excited, when the floor was open for them to showcase their skills on the floor if they asked me to rate people for their performance on the floor, I would say everyone scratched the floor with different steps that had not been seen in the world of dancing. It was really a great day to remember.
The most talented people are here. Across the world, I don't think they know the positive fact about Nigerians they know only about 419, yahoo! Yahoo! And they say Nigeria is corrupt, yes it's true but we are also talented and beautiful people. I think football is the forefront of showcasing our talents to the rest of the world. When you see people like JAY JAY OKOCHA and KANU NWANKWO and what they are doing, they make you remember that Nigeria is not just about political turmoil.
How cool is SANNI EMMANUEL and ONAZI OGENYI?
Nigerians and the rest of the world are waiting to see them fly because they have all it takes to be the best the world over.
