FATOU BENSOUDA, I C C CHIEF PROSECUTOR TO SPEAK AT THE VOICE MAGAZINE AWARD

The Chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), The Hague, Fatou Bensouda will be

the guest speaker at this year's Voice Magazine annual African achievers Award. She will speak on the subject: “Addressing Impunity for Mass Crimes in Africa and beyond”. Fatou Bensouda was a recipient of the award in 2012 and a supporter of The Voice Magazine project.

The event will take place on the 17th October 2014 at Van der Valk hotel Almere, The Netherlands.

The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr Jakaya Kikwete will lead other distinguished Africans and friends of Africa in this year's investiture ceremony.


Prince Eze Madumere (Deputy Governor of Imo State), Chief Joop Berkhout OON, a Dutch born Nigerian, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, Dr. Anita Davis-Defoe, Tessy Ojo, Dr. Samuel Lee, Dr. Jelle Braaksma, Health Promotion South Africa Trust, Veronica Van de Kamp, Engr. Ayodele Barry Otasowie Igbeare, Tony Tprhymes Patrick, Sally Ebot, Mr. Bernd Wandkowski, Norbet Young, Stephen Ogongo, Bishop Michael O. Amamieye, Akua Manfo, Martin Adu and Bruce Cerew and other recipients will feature in this year's ceremony.

The ceremony rated as the most prestigious African event in the Benelux region of the Central Europe will feature other African cultural surprises.

According to the Editor-in-Chief, Elvis Iruh and The Managing Editor, Henry Oduenyi, this years' event will exceed the elegance and beauty of the previous years because it will be a joint celebration of the publication's 15th year of existence.
