Why I Haven't Seen My New Born Baby- Chigozie Atuanya

Just few days ago, precisely on Saturday September 6, 2014, Nollywood actor Chigozie Atuanya and his wife Obianuju Oranika Atuanya welcomed their first child, a baby girl.

The first fruit of their marriage was born in a Chicago hospital. Mother and child are said to be doing great.

However in a recent chat with Nigerfilms.com, the Chetenna movie producer, Chigozie expressed that he is indeed very excited to have a baby girl as his first child because his parents had just six boys.

"I must confess, I am so excited to be called a daddy. In fact to have a girl in my family after so many years of growing amongst six brothers. This excitement makes me feel like having 8 more kids from my wife. It is really a wonderful feeling to have a child of your own. I have named her Chikaima. (We only know God)."

The Nri Anambra state born act also lamented that in as much as he is super excited to be a father, he is yet to set his eyes on his loving wife and bundle of joy since the delivery in USA.

" I have been so busy here in Nigeria that I haven't had the time to travel abroad to see my family. But I promise to fly over there and see them by next week. I have only seen my baby in pictures, she's so beautiful and lovely. I can't wait to carry her in my arms," he said.

Chigozie and his wife Obi got married in August 2013.
