Crocked Bray Back At Swansea

Alex Bray's very brief spell at Plymouth looks to be over after he ruptured his anterior ligament.

The 19-year-old only arrived at Home Park on loan from Swansea last Monday but injured himself shortly after making his debut from the bench in the win at Luton.

And the Pilgrims, who had only agreed to borrow Bray until January, confirmed on Tuesday that he will undergo surgery next Thursday that looks set to sideline him for six months.

“It's a crying shame for the kid,” boss John Sheridan said. “It was his first game for us, and I thought he was really bright. The introduction of Alex was probably our spark. He came on and had a few little runs and got us going.”
