IN TIMES LIKE THIS, CONSPIRACY THEORY APPEALS
So how can we determine what's real and what's not? We can't. we can just pick and choose what we want to believe and rationalize it as best as we can. Reality after all, is basically a movie projected inside our heads. Its based on the colours our senses permits us to see, the sounds they permit us to hear and whatever else our brains let slip through the gate. But outside our limited senses, surrounding us, there is, unquestionably, a much greater reality, a universe we live in but we can not see. Well most of us, anyway. How dark is our side of the world in a universe full of postulated conspiracy theories ranging from economic to political, and from military conflict to religious and social to environmental sabotage ostensibly attributed to the western countries, their spooks, scientists, military, politicians, environmentalists, etc. Conspiracy theory is according to dictionary a belief that a particular event is the result of a secret plot rather than the actions of an individual person or chance. Ebola is seriously raging through West African countries while at the same time keeping the rest of the world vigilantly on their toes. Over one thousand three hundred persons have so far been reported dead from Ebola virus in the affected countries including Nigeria this year alone.
Ebola is a lethal virus transmitted by blood and body fluids that causes the linings of bodily organs and vessels to leak blood and fluids, usually resulting in death. It happens periodically with highly contagious and very deadly virus that carries horrific symptoms known as flesh eating virus which has flared up in Africa a number of times in the past but the recent outbreak has been especially bad. Its death rate is high though its infection and spread is not proportionately high but are dangerously worrisome. With the recent deadly and wider spread of the virus, facts as well as doubts about its origin are battling for supremacy and acceptance especially among medical, political, and social communities. A closer study of the research detailing the alleged source of this grievous virus does not satisfactorily quench one of appetite for truth especially when the world today is filled with conspiracy theories that are neither proven nor disproved.
There are deluge of conspiracy theories of varying degrees existing in different spheres of life compelling uncountable number of people to question the notion or belief that actions are created by chance rather than the belief that they are creation of manipulative and vicious humans. Some of the conspiracy theories that exist leaves one gaping for air by its level of persuasive appeal. In the second half of the 19th century, conspiracists claimed that Jews and/or Freemasons were plotting to establish control over the world. The best-known text alleging the existence of this Judeo-Masonic conspiracy theory is The Protocols of the Elders of Zion . A more modern manifestation of such ideas is the theory of a Zionist Occupation Government. Various conspiracy theories have been advanced regarding Jews and banking as well as the denial of Holocaust. Samuel A. Weems (1936-2003), an American writer and a disbarred lawyer from Arkansas was alleged to have been paid by Turkish lobby group in the United States believed to be sponsored by Turkish government wrote in his book 'Armenia': The Secrets of a Christian Terrorist State (2002), he argued in favor of the idea that the Armenian Genocide was a gigantic fraud designed to fleece Christian nations out of billions of dollars. He also claimed that the Armenian Church was a state-owned entity that organizes and funds terrorist (including ASALA ) attacks and that Armenians had infiltrated the United States. That book states that Armenian Diaspora communities in the United States and throughout the world are actually colonies and political bases intended to gain money and support for Armenian Republic.
On 12th February 2013, Pope Benedict XVI announced his resignation in a speech in Latin before the cardinals, citing a “lack of strength of mind and body” due to his advanced age. His resignation became effective on 28 February 2013. Two Italian publications, the major Italian newspaper La Repubblica and Panorama , an Italian magazine weekly, have proposed the conspiracy theory involving scandal which is still hanging without proof or disproof. Under conspiracy theories, there are schemes known as false flag operation perpetuated by clandestine government activities aimed at building foundation for a larger scale operations. The 1999 Russian apartment bombings, which precipitated the Second Chechen War perpetrated by the FSB, the successor organization to the KGB, Pearl Harbor advance-knowledge conspiracy theory, Pan Am Flight 103 conspiracy theory, the 9/11 conspiracy theory , which alleged that the United States government conducted the 9/11 attacks or knew beforehand the attacks would happen but deliberately did nothing to prevent them in order to drastically sway public opinion to favor war, 2004 Madrid train bombings, the motivations for nations starting, entering, or ending wars are often brought into question by conspiracy theorists which falls within the scope of false flag conspiracy theory.
The source of conflict around the world are often ascribed to Military-industrial complex as propounded by Eisenhower but what is behind biological, chemical and atomic conspiracies where humans are used as lab rats is still largely unclear. They (when I say 'they' I mean the west) told us that this biologically created disease is native to Africa and survives in natural reservoir like bats and gorillas which makes jump to human either through human consumption or other form of contacts. These are very animals Africans have been living with from the time immemorial without outbreaks of deadly unnatural diseases. Here is what Australian vaccination group said, 'with the current epidemic of Ebola, its instructive to remember that the first outbreaks of a filovirus (Marburg which is nearly identical to Ebola and which causes clinically indistinguishable hemorrhagic disease) took place simultaneously in laboratories in Frankfurt, Marburg and Belgrade in 1967.' . Interestingly, though the outbreak was associated with the monkeys, there is no known animal reservoir for either of these viruses but humans appear to be their only victims. Its seems that fruit Bats can spread the virus but they are not affected by it. The filoviruses also appear to be a strange combination of viruses which have never before been seen in nature-much like the 2009 swine flu which the well respected scientist, Adrian Gibb said had to have been man made.
These viruses have strong structural and genetic similarities to both rhabdoviruses and the paramyxoviruses (both measles and mumps are paramyxoviruses) and are novel or new never having been seen before. And again, the index cases were not in Africa but instead, were in European vaccine laboratories. These facts surely will lead any right thinking individual to ask pertinent questions like, are these viruses man made or do we believe that their sudden emergence simultaneously in three European vaccine labs is a mere coincidence? What suddenly happened to our animals we have lived with for centuries? Who poisoned our wild life? What are the motives behind undercover activities that cause harm to others? Could it be for commercial gain to some pharmaceutical companies or sheer wickedness? Could it be that some hurtful fellows develop some viruses and inject our games knowing that Africans will hunt and eat them and, or at least have a close contact with them? Whatever reason and whoever is involved, it is evil.
However, this is the time for African leaders to wake up and police their environments like never before. Time has come for Africans to monitor the activities of foreigners in their countries as they could be covertly operating hazardous biological and chemical laboratories for research or other purposes. We have not forgotten how rogue French government tested nuclear bombs in Sahara desert of Algeria not once or twice but four times and series of other underground tests which resulted in many deaths of innocent civilians. We have not forgotten that the birth place of virology and biological warfare is Germany and postwar Germany never abandoned weapons of mass destruction, its rebuilt pharmaceutical industry was the first to conduct monkey trials on an African filovirus similar to Ebola and thus should not be exonerated from the scourge of incurable viruses ravaging Africa. Africa may be a victim of neocolonial struggle for its rich and fertile territory by pharmaco-military complex of the west through biological warfare.
