NAN Managing Director Loses Mum

BEVERLY HILLS, August 28, (THEWILL) - The Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, Olorogun Ima Niboro, has lost his mother, Deaconess Agnes Owoma Ukeseh, Nee Ekemike, who died mid-day on Wednesday, August 28. A statement issued by Obiora Chukwumba,

Deputy Director, Office of the Managing Director, NAN, said the late Deaconess Ukeseh, who turned 79 on August 6, was a devout Christian, a retired Nursing Matron, with a lifetime commitment to the service of God, the church and community.

The statement further noted that the late Deaconess Ukeseh was accomplished in her Christian ministry and the nursing profession.

She is survived by her children, Mrs. Sarah Ajiboye, a business woman; Bishop Columba Niboro, General Overseer of the Sonrise Community Church, Toledo, Ohio, USA; Olorogun Ima Niboro, the Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN; and Mrs. Grace Owhraigbo, of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, as well as many grand children.

The statement added that the programme of celebration of her life and memory as well as internment will be announced by the family.
