Police foils bomb blast in Kano's mosque

The police in Kano, Sunday morning, uncovered a massive bomb planted at Isyaku Rabiu mosque where hundreds of worshippers are billed to observe Eid prayers.

Security sources said the high calibre improvised explosive devise was primed in a tinted vehicle and strategically parked within the premises of the mosque that also served as Eid praying ground.

Confirming the incident, the police image maker in Kano, ASP Magaji Musa Majia revealed that the police commissioner, Adelenre Shinaba would address the press in few hours time to divulge further details. Vanguard
