News presently going viral in the entertainment industry in Nigeria is that fast-rising music artiste, Sean Tizzle sealed an endorsement deal worth 17million naira. The said deal is coming weeks after he got a similar one with telecommunication brand, MTN, ostensibly not for the same amount.

However, the name of the company Sean Tizzle signed the deal with was not mentioned in the several reports gathered by Nollywoodgists.com, which raised curiosity about the news item.

When Nollywoodgists.com contacted his manager, Rico White, on this, he informed us that the artiste truly penned a brand endorsement deal with a drink company, but declined to mention the name of the company the deal was signed with.

But when questioned the reason behind this, Rico said due to privacy terms, the name of the brand will be revealed later. In his words, 'the name of the drink is not there due to privacy issues; everything else is true, it is just that once there is privacy law, you cannot show logos and brands.'

This brought about the question why would a company pay heavily to have an artiste promote its brands and the artistes makes such deal public without identifying with the brand during the announcement?
In the several reports, Sean Tizzle's tour to the United States of America (USA) was mentioned. Could the artiste be using the deal with the undisclosed brand to promote his US tour, knowing that blogs would only copy and paste the story from the source? This is one of the questions begging for answers.
