Nasarawa to build special school for Taraba refugees

NasarawaState governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, has reiterated his administration committed to establish a special school at the temporary refugees camp at Shabu to take care of the educational needs of the children of victims of Tabara crisis currently camped in the state.

The governor said that adequate security and social amenities such as water and electricity and clinic would be provided at the temporary camp to ease the hardship being experienced the displaced victims staying at the camp.

The governor said that government would continue to monitor activities of the victims at the temporary camp to ensure that the welfare and comfort of the victims at the camp was sufficiently provided.
