Ajibola College Of Law Holds Dinner

The Bola Ajibola College of Law (BACOLAW) of Crescent University, Abeokuta recently held a dinner to mark the grand finale of its students' association week.

The Proprietor, Judge Bola Ajibola , in his remarks, stressed the importance of the dinner to the upcoming legal practitioners in the college, noting that the students were lucky for their access to knowledge of the dinner.

He said in his own time, graduating law students were usually not aware of what the law dinner looked like until they got to the law school.

In a related development, the college has also established the Law Clinic and ADR Centre to provide a public service to local people who are in need of legal advice in form of representation, mediation, arbitration and negotiation but cannot afford to pay for it.

The Dean of BACOLAW, Prof. Gbenga Oduntan noted that law students would be guided to gain experience in full conduct of cases on behalf of clients under the close supervision of of qualified lawyers, mediators and arbitrators, adding that this would come as a great advantage in preparing them for future practice.

Other personalities who graced the event are the chairman of the occasion, Barr. Segun Ajibola(SAN),special guests of honour, Barr. Wale Fapohinda and Barr Olatokunbo Olopade who are Attorney-general of Ekiti State and Chief Judge of Ogun State respectively.
