Bomb Blast In Kano

SAN FRANCISCO, May 18, (THEWILL) â€' A bomb explosion has been reported in Kano State, the biggest commercial city in Northern Nigeria.

Residents said the blast occurred around the Sabon Gari district of town around 9.26pm local time.

The blast struck a road in a predominantly Christian area that had several bars and restaurants.

Casualty figures were unknown as at the time of fling this report.
