N.U.C Storms E.A.C.O.E.D

In a bid to become a full fledged University of Education, Emmanuel Alayande College of Education had put necessary mechanisms in place like aggressive infrastructure development, mock accreditation conducted by the supervising University i.e Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, and most importantly the real accreditation of the eighteen degree courses offered in the College by the Nigerian Universities' Commission which prompted the officers of the agency to storm the College on Monday 28th to Tuesday 29th April 2014.

Surprisingly, despite the on-going strike in the College then, the Lecturers made themselves available with the aim of achieving their common goal.

Finally, with these and other possible recommendations, if taken, one should therefore expect this great and highly reputable College of Education to become University of Education at the earliest opportunity.
