Fayose Meets Ekiti Indigenes In Ondo State

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose, will on Thursday, meet with Ekiti indigenes based in Ondo State.

According to a release issued by the Director General of Ayo Fayose Campaign Organisation (AFCO), Chief Dipo Anisulowo, the meeting will afford the PDP candidate the opportunity to unveil his programmes to the indigenes.

Anisulowo, who described indigenes of Ekiti State that are based in Ondo State as central to the PDP victory in the June 21 governorship election, said Fayose was committed to the welfare of Ekiti people wherever they reside.

He said going to Akure to meet the Ekiti indigenes was a show of the respect Fayose has for them.

"Our people living in Ondo State are very important to us and we have decided to meet them in Akure, the Ondo State capital on Thursday.

"Members of all associations of Ekiti indigenes in Ondo State are expected at the meeting, as it will be an interactive forum where issues bordering on expectations of the people will be discussed," Anisulowo said.

The AFCO Director General, who expressed gratitude to the Ondo State based Ekiti indigenes for their show of support for the PDP and its candidate, said; "Fayose's first tenure as governor was highly beneficial to our people in Ondo State and his second coming will be more beneficial to them."
