Uduaghan, Others Pay Homage As Olu Celebrates 27 On Throne

BEVERLY HILLS, CA, May 03, (THEWILL) â€' Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State Saturday, led his political associates to pay homage to the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse II.

The Olu of Warri was celebrating the 27th anniversary of his coronation and the event which was full of fanfare attracted people from different parts of the country with different groups and Itsekiri communities paying homage to the Olu.

Among those who joined the Governor to pay homage include former Minister of the Ministry of Niger Delta, Elder Godsday Orubebe, the member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, Hon. Daniel Reyenieju of the House of Representatives, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Peter Onwusanya and predecessor, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei, and members of the state executive council, among others.

The event which also featured cultural display by different cultural groups was well attended by people of all walks of life.

The coronation anniversary will end today (Sunday) with a thanksgiving service at the Foursquare Gospel Church, Olu Palace, Warri.
