Another bomb explosions hit Nyanya, Abuja

The serene ambiance of Federal Capital Territory, Abuja salutary evening  was rudely violated Thursday night by another bomb explosion at the out sketch of the city.

Our correspondent who called in from Abuja said the blast took place in the bus stop opposite the Nyanya park, where the previous bomb blasts claimed close 100 lives.

The bus-stop is known to bustle with activities at night with many hawkers displaying their wares.

Reports indicate casualties have already been recorded and security operatives as well as rescue workers are already at the scene of the blast. It was further confirmed that the explosives that went off were loaded in 2 vehicles.

Though the number of casualties was yet to be determined at the time of filing this report, those on the road report traffic congestion following the explosion. There were conflicting reports as to the exact scene of the explosion. While some said it was in the premises of a church, others said it was inside the traffic on the road.
