SA Music Group, Mafikizolo Wins Most Downloaded Song

Mafikizolo have taken an early lead at this year's shindig, bagging no fewer than three awards at a ceremony hosted by TV starlet Pearl Modiadie.

The Afropop duo's single, Khona, won Best Selling Ring-back Tone, Best Selling Full-track Download and Best Selling Mobile Music Download of the Year.

The South African Music Awards, is the biggest annual trophy hunt on the showbiz calendar, which started on the 28th of April 2014.

Every year, the SAMA 20 industry awards reward technical and sales excellence as well as artistic prowess in certain music categories, and serve as an appetiser to the main event. Hosted by Pearl Modiadie, this year's industry awards featured live performances by several of the nominees.
