Diseases, Sicknesses And Ailments Caused In The Human Spirit That Defy Orthodox Medical Treatment
Human kind which is the generic name for all human beings that the Holy Bible collectively refers to as “man” is God's unique creation. We are markedly different from angels in all respects, even though we're created a little bit lower than them (Psalm 8: 4). There are three reasons the Lord God Almighty created us-you and me- according to His Word: “to have power, authority and dominion.”
As we have defined those three concepts here before; power is the ability to enforce a will, authority is the legal basis through which power can be exercised and authority can be obtained in two ways: defacto and dejure, while dominion is the acne to which both power and authority can be put to use. These power, authority and dominion that the Lord God Almighty gave to man-you and me –were to be discharged over what? Land, sea and the air, including all that are in them.
God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit were involved in creating us as opposed to the rest earthly creations that were spoken into existence. Here was how Genesis 1: 26 put it: “Then God (the Father) said, "Let us (us referring to the two members of the Godhead-God the Son-Jesus Christ-and God the Holy Spirit) - make mankind in our (again our there referring to the Three Godhead in One-Father, Son and the Holy Spirit)- image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea -(the amphibian or aquatic life)- and the birds in the sky,- (arboreal life)- over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground"-(total dominion).
In order to ensure His Plan for the human race is fulfilled and undoubtedly sure, God the Father repeated and reiterated these three purposes again in Genesis 1: 28 thus:- “God blessed them (the human race) and said to them-(the human race-you and me)-, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea - (here again power over aquatic/amphibian life) - and the birds in the sky-(here again power over arboreal life) - and over every living creature that moves on the ground." When the Lord God Almighty says or utters something, it is done, but when He repeats it twice, no one can change it, because as Hebrews 6: 18 aptly noted: “God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie...”
You see, if the Lord God Almighty says something and it doesn't happen, then He is no more God, but we know when God says Yes to anything, no person in heaven, on earth or in hell can say No. Hallelujah! After God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit had made known these three purposes for human kind on earth, the Trinity now proceeded to equip human kind-you and me- with the abilities to exercise power, authority and dominion on the earth as aforesaid. Just as human beings have three purposes on earth, the Lord God Almighty also created human beings in three-dimension accordingly. We must understand this spiritual background in order to understand the origins of diseases, sicknesses and ailments. In Genesis 2: 7, we read thus:-“Then the LORD God formed a man – (the human race)-from the dust of the ground (man the physical body)-and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life,-(man the spirit) - and the man became a living being-(man the soul).” In other words, man the spirit, soul and body. We shall examine these three dimensional parts of every human being in this series beginning with the spirit this week.
Man the Spirit: - The Lord God Almighty is Three-in-One and He is Spirit so those who must worship Him must also do so in spirit as Luke 4: 24 stated: “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth." To enable His genuine worshippers to worship Him in Spirit, man-the human race-was created with three dimensions in spirit namely: - Intuition, Conscience and Communion/Worship. Intuition is that part of the human spirit through which the Lord God speaks to human beings. The Lord God Almighty does not speak to the human mind.
The human mind is too small to understand and comprehend God in all His majesty and that was why Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2: 11-14: “For who knows a person's thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.” Adam and Eve didn't need a book or Holy Bible to understand and hear from God when they were in the Garden of Eden. They knew what was of God intuitively.
What Satan did in the Garden of Eden when he entered by stealth through a snake was to upset this chain of command whereby, Adam and Eve could hear from God through the intuitive part of their spirit and the intuition sent the words to their minds. The human mind is not in the human spirit but in the human soul. The human mind is supposed to take orders from the intuition in the human spirit, process the message and then proceed to take action, because it is only in the intuitive part of the human spirit that the Lord God talks to us. When I say something to the effect that: “The Lord God Almighty says…” I have received letters and also phone calls from people, including fellow Christians around the world who would ask me; How did you hear from the Lord God Almighty?
Why can't I hear from Him too? The Lord God Almighty talks to every human being on earth: believers and unbelievers alike as pointed out in this column in the past. The lack of understanding on the part of many on how He speaks or talks to us is the problem. Some think the Lord God Almighty speaks directly to our human minds. No, the human mind has close affinity with the flesh and Satan and the world: the three domains that Satan used to deceive Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden which led to the fall of our First Parents. The human heart is the physiological organ through which the mind, which is human's psychological tool that the human soul apprehends what is of God via the human intuition. If you do not understand this spiritual principle, it will be extremely difficult to hear from the True Lord God Almighty. The two other aspects of the human spirit alongside the intuition are the human conscience which regulates good and bad and the communion or worship part which constantly craves for a higher being or spiritual connection. The conscience is further divided into three levels as well. My co-author and I have written much about these vast areas of spiritual analyses of the human spirit as recorded in the Holy Bible in our book: “The Kingdom of Satan Exposed: Activities of Principalities and Demon Worship in our World Today,” and will not repeat them here because of space. This is not Theology but real in-depth Christian Bible Studies. Now that we know the three components of the human spirit, we will turn our attention to how Satan and his demons use diseases, ailments and sicknesses to attack the human spirit.
Diseases, Sicknesses and Ailments in the Human Spirit: - Following the disobedience of our First Parents, Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, the power, authority and dominion that God gave to them fell or were stolen by Satan. Whoever you obey, either willingly or falsely is your god, period! As Romans 6: 16 noted: “Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey--whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?” Adam and Eve obeyed Satan and disobeyed God in Genesis 3, even though Satan deceived them, but it is immaterial and the deception didn't obviate the repercussions of their disobedience. This is how sin or disobedience entered the world and spread to all human beings: “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—“ (Romans 5: 12). Sin is the root cause of all diseases, sicknesses and ailments either remotely and or directly. Death is the telo of all sins and all diseases, sicknesses and ailments. Satan and his demons derive their powers and strengths from three broad categories of sins namely: - Inherited sins, Personal Sins and Sexual Sins.
Inherited Sins: - Before the Lord God gave the Decalogue (Exodus 20), Satan and his demons knew that human life is a continuum and what we do can and do affect current and future generations. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God and obeyed Satan in Genesis 3, Satan believed that all human beings on earth belong to him and must be controlled by him and his demons. John told us this fact in 1 John 5: 19b thus; “…the whole world is under the control of the evil one.”
This was why Satan came to our Lord Jesus Christ and showed him the beauty and glamor of the whole earth and said in Luke 4: 5-7: “The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. If you worship me, it will all be yours.” Our Lord Jesus Christ didn't dispute with Satan and that was why the Lord told Pontus Pilate and constantly reminded us His disciples then and now in John 18: 36: “My kingdom is not of this world…”
All those who worship Satan-either willfully or ignorantly-are under his sway, thus, Satan uses diseases, ailments and sicknesses to discipline them when they disobey him and his demons. Let the truth be told; anyone who is not covered by the Blood of Jesus is a child of Satan, knowingly or ignorantly. Forget about religion! Satan gives false security to all Christ-rejecters that they are worshiping God Almighty but are they worshipping the True Lord God Almighty? No, they aren't thus are disobedient human beings. This is why the True Lord God Almighty said He would visit the sins of the fathers unto the children in Exodus 20: 5.
As long as you are a Christ-rejecter, Satan and his demons have the power to visit all the consequences of sins committed by your forbears on you because just as humans give birth so also spirits give birth too as our Lord Jesus Christ told Nicodemus in John 3: 6: “Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.” Just as the Holy Spirit produces good fruits in the lives of born-again Christians as disclosed in Galatians 5: 22-23 so also Satan and his demons also give birth as recorded in the same Galatians 5:19-21. Remember the young mute boy inhabited by a demon in Mark 9: 20-21: “Jesus asked the boy's father, “How long has he been like this?” “From childhood,” he answered.” That was an example of inherited sin and thus inherited disease. Families that have trafficked in demonological activities such as witchcraft, psychic readings, astral travel/projection, Tarot Card reading, New Age stuffs, magic, demon worship and fake religions often pass those demons from one generation to the next and those demons give them diseases, sicknesses and ailments. Some cultures recognize these transferences of demons from generation to generation; hence they give names to their children after their deceased parents/grandparents. That is why some children exhibit violent tempers, rage, anger and all sorts and those who know the families very well remark; “He is like his father.” Women too named after their departed parents/grandparents tend to exhibit mannerisms of such deceased forbears and the demons that those progenies worshipped while alive have the right to afflict their children with diseases, ailments and sicknesses appropriate in such families. The Yoruba-speaking people of Africa understood this generational curses quite well when they name some of their children after their forbears.
Names like Babtunde, Iyabo, Yetunde etc, may be advertised as preservation of Yoruba culture, their demonic contents are often passed as benign, but those who are spiritually-wise know how Satan and his demons employ traditions, culture and custom to rule human beings. Just as our Lord Jesus Christ chastised the Jews in Mark 7: 9: “… "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!” In Mark 7: 13, the Lord pointed out how these traditions, cultures and customs are passed from generation to generation “You nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down (from generation to generation). And you do many things like that."
Satan and his demons are deceivers and are sneaky; they don't tell human beings to worship them openly but couched Satanic worships and demonic allegiance in traditions, cultures and customs. Each time a Christ-believer asks anything that is done but contrary to the Word of God, the first reaction of non-believers is to blot out; “These are our customs, traditions and culture, we've been doing these things for ages and do we just scrap and stop these practices now because we're Christians? Won't we preserve our cultural heritage? Aren't we a people that should hold unto our traditions and not shame our forefathers?” The question we should ask is: Where did these traditional customs, traditions and culture start from? Many of the origins of these so-called traditions, customs and cultures are rooted in Satanic rituals and demonic practices but many of those holding allegiances to such practices are completely oblivious and have no clues of the origins of these demonic practices.
If you are from a family where demon worshipers die at relatively young age, or suffer from heart diseases, are diabetic, suffer stroke, cancer etc, for examples, you're most likely to be afflicted with such diseases too in the course of your lifetime. This is why orthodox medical personnel ask when people go for medical check-ups: Are your parents alive? At what age(s) did they live and are you aware of any known disease(s) in your family? Diseases, sicknesses and ailments that occur as a result of spiritual disobedience or known demonological trafficking are passed from generation to generations among human beings. Orthodox medicine tells us that those whose parents died from cancers for example are themselves susceptible to die from the same cancerous diseases. These are not natural explanations to sicknesses rather they are spiritual diagnosis even unbeknown to the medical world.
Self-Sins: In addition to carry-over ailments, diseases and sicknesses from your parents/grandparents and deceased forbears as inherited sins, your sins or disobedience too should be added. All unbelievers and Christ-rejecters belong to this group. Not only would the consequences of the disobediences of your forbears give Satan and his demons the ammunition to afflict you with diseases, sicknesses and ailments, your continued disobedience too will aggravate the situation. “Like father or parents and like son or daughter,” is a popular saying. Finally, Sexual Sins: - The third areas of sins that cause diseases, sicknesses and ailments with spiritual origins which afflict human beings are sins connected with sex. Apostle Paul warned in 1 Corinthians 6: 18: “Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.” Demons love to inhabit human bodies and when any of the laws of sexual purity is breached, the demonic doorway is opened accordingly. Unless you are a born-again Christian and are aware of these spiritual principles, you can suffer ignorantly too, because ignorance of spiritual laws or zeal is not immunity from demonic infestation. When the spiritual laws governing the conducts and behaviors of human beings are met in regard to God, we see the results in our lifestyles. Similarly, anyone who meets the spiritual conditions for Satan and his demons to operate, no matter your status in life, Satan and his demons will act in your life accordingly. This is a fundamental spiritual law because God has set the system so. As Galatians 6: 7 says: “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man - (and woman too) reaps what he (or she) sows.”
Diagnoses of Sicknesses, Diseases and Ailments with Spiritual Origins: - The way the Lord God Almighty organized the world is in conformity with His laws. Those who doubt the existence of an All—Knowing, All-Seeing, and an All-Powerful Lord God Almighty are simply obtuse, because, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” (Psalm 19:1). Nature itself proves there are laws guiding the cosmos and also there are laws the Lord God Almighty has set up guiding human behaviors on earth.
Fire burns, the sun rises and sets, rains falls, the stars and the galaxies course through the earth in systematic fashion, the weather and the rest planetary systems are so arrayed and organized that only a simpleton will deny the way and perfect arrangement behind them. Paul disclosed this in Romans 1: 18-20: “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” Consequently, any time any human being breached the laws of nature, it is a sin and there must be repercussions. The first sign that a disease is not natural is when the patient is told by orthodox medical personnel that they can't find out the reason for the disease, ailment or sickness.
Satan and his demons love to see human beings suffer and their human agents who are actively working in cahoots with them on earth to cause havoc and evil also love fellow human beings suffer. A lady was suffering from unknown disease and intense pain after she was told by the medical doctors they couldn't diagnose the disease. She was being attacked by a Satanist and each time she was rushed to the hospital, doctors told her they couldn't diagnose her ailment. “May be you can try the traditionalist or some religious movement, but we didn't find anything wrong with you” the medical doctors explained to her family.
What the demons and their human acolytes-witches-do was lift-off their hands from the woman as soon as she was wheeled to the theater in the hospital. Her anatomical organs were perfect and so the medical doctors didn't see anything in the laboratory or medical radar and thus told her nothing was wrong with her. As soon as she was taken out of the hospital, the demons and the witches would re-insert the object of torture again. Now the question one should ask is; why would a loving God allow this thing to happen to a human being?
Why would some human beings have the power to torture another human being like this? Read the answer of the Lord God Almighty in Proverbs 1: 24-33: “… since you refuse to listen when I call and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand, since you disregard all my advice and do not accept my rebuke, I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you; I will mock when calamity overtakes you— when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you. “Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me, since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the LORD. Since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke, they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. For the waywardness of the simple will kill them and the complacency of fools will destroy them; but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.”
It so happened that the woman's late mother had five children from four different men and the lady herself had three children from two men. The person she was living with as at the time she fell sick was not her husband but they were “shacking together.” You can't live the way you like and disobey the laws of God and expect Him to come to your aid when Satan and his demons are after you, period! Any sickness, ailment or diseases caused by Satan and his demons and their human agents often defy orthodox medical treatment. That is a red flag right there. Remember the woman with the hunchback that our Lord Jesus Christ was accused of healing on the Sabbath? Read what the Lord Jesus Christ said about her in Luke 13: 16: “Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?"
If you are a born-again Christian and you are in such a situation, three things must be established and dealt with immediately; one, repent of any known inherited sins, repent of your own sins and finally seek proper counseling from men and women of God with the Holy Spirit gift of “…distinguishing between spirits,…” (1 Corinthians 12: 10c). You must go for deliverance immediately and the Bible Passage I normally recommend to believers suffering unnecessarily out of ignorance from ailments, diseases and sicknesses from Satan and his demons and acolytes is 1 John 1: 5-10: “This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.” If you are an unbeliever and are not ready to give your life to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, you are basically on your own. No one, not even God can help you. No one, no creation, angel, human being-believer and unbeliever alike-can disobey the Lord God Almighty and spurn His laws and commandments and think he/she will go scot-free and won't face the full consequences. This is why Satan and his fallen angels are hell-bound. If you too are their follower and have refused to have a change of heart and forsake their ways, you too are assuredly hell-bound, as simple as that, because“… God shows no partiality.” (Romans 2: 11).
There is only one way out that the Lord God Almighty has provided for us-human beings-repent of your sin and disobedience and ask Him through the Blood of His Only begotten Son Jesus Christ to forgive you and stop sinning henceforth, period! Anything short of this is sorrow and sufferings here in the hands of Satan and his demons and their human agents and continuation of such suffering in hell.

Pastor Tunde Bakare of Latter Rain Assembly Church of Nigeria didn't deny what he was quoted as saying by the media that anointing oil was like a mosquito repellant to the Jews. Hear Pastor Bakare: ““I am not against Anointing Oil.
The thing is, it's a Jewish Culture. They rub it on their bodies as protection against insects like your mosquito repellents. It was used extensively in the old testament for anointing …It is the power of God that heals, not the Oil” First, Pastor Bakare disclosed that he was not against the use of anointing oil per se but anointing oil is not used as mosquito repellant by the Hebrews.
The man of God should get his history correct. Traditionally, the unguent, resins, seeds and spices mixed with the oil are used for consecration. The power is not in the oil but just a representation of our faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Similarly, the same as we do with the Lord's Supper where the bread represents the body of the Lord and the drink for His Blood shed on the Cross for our sins and justification after His Risen Resurrection. The anointing oil was applied to our Lord by Mary when He visited the house of Lazarus in Bethany in John 12: 3: “Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.”
Jewish soldiers used the anointing oil as protection during war (Isaiah 21: 5); anointing oil is used for spiritual consecration for burial (Luke 23: 56); it is used to consecrate pastors and priests called by the Holy Spirit to work in His house-the church- (Exodus 30: 25, Leviticus 8: 12); and can be used as healing for a Christian afflicted with sickness or disease (James 5: 14). Do not discount the power of the anointing oil when consecrated in the Mighty Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Dear Prof. thanks for the link and of course your article. However, I have something to say about the Bakare's comment on anointing oil. In the new covenant, Christ lives in our heart by faith- Ephesians 3:17. Also the same power that lifted Christ from the grave is inside us- Ephesians 1: 17-20. I could elaborate on this but I prefer you meditate on those verses and if you wish I could explain further. In the end, what we have in us trumps any oil. The limitation hither - to - fore experienced in "religion" is due to the fact that not many people accept that they are joint heirs with Christ and that they have the righteousness of God (power of God)in them II Corinthians 5:21. Yes, my Christian Brother I agree with you but I am against the ahistorical portion of Pastor Bakare's statement. We should also note that anointing oil was recommended for sick Christians in James 5:14 even though our faith should solely be in our Lord Jesus Christ. There is a spiritual reason the prayer of the elders of the church for the sick should be supplemented with the anointing oil as a consecration. Many times when spiritual warfare is afoot, the Holy Spirit would direct that the church or place where the spiritual warfare is about to take place should be sealed with anointing oil even after prayer. Many times, our private belongings, houses, cars etc can be anointed with anointing oil in addition to faith and prayer, because faith without work is dead (James 2: 14-26). We should not belittle any spiritual activity stated in the Holy Bible, because if such spiritual activities are insignificant they would not be recommended in the Holy Bible.
