14 people in killed in Takulashu

Members of the Boko Haram sect have attacked Takulashu village in Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State on Sunday killinh the Village Head (local traditional ruler) his two sons and 11 other villagers before setting whole village ablaze.

Alhaji Baanna Chibok , Chairman of Chibok Local Government Area confirmed this to Nigerian Voice in a Telephone interview in Maiduguri.

He said ,"yes the Boko Haram attacked Takulashu village and killed the village head, his two sons and 11 other villagers before setting the whole village ablaze".

The Sect had killed seven people along Biu -Damboa road within the last weekend as well as 17 others in Kirawa of Gwoza local Government area last saturday as they were on their way to the market.

This spate of recent killings have reintroduced new wave of fear among the people of Borno state who had earlier believed that the security situation was getting better.
