SSA On Power Honoured By His People

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Power, Dr. Victor Udo has been conferred with the 'Emerging Light of the Youths' award from Obot Akara Youths represented by Akwa Ibom state Youth Caucus in conjunction with Youth Alive.

Speaking on the criteria for the Award, the Chairman, Obot Akara chapter, Comrade Emmanuel Amana said the award was presented to the SSA on Power " in recognition of his good leadership, proficiency and excellence".

He said "we recognized Dr. Udo, he has done well in his profession, which is why His Excellency appointed him as the SSA on Power. If we have more of this exemplary leadership there will be good followership and the society will be better"

The Secretary of the Youth Caucus, Innocent Nelson, also said "we thank the Governor, Chief (Dr). Godswill Akpabio, who saw the proficiency in Dr. Udo and appointed him as the SSA on Power, we encourage the SSA to do more for Obot Akara and Akwa Ibom state as a whole".

While receiving the award, the SSA on Power dedicated the award to God and to His Excellency, Governor Godswill Akpabio.

He said "I want to express thanks to God for making me who I am, without God I am nothing. I also express appreciation to my Boss, the 'Uncommon Transformer' Chief (Dr.) Godswill Akpabio for appointing me".

The SSA said "our Governor is indeed an 'Uncommon' leader, I had the privilege of working with some Governors while in the US and Chief (Dr.) Godswill Akpabio is the most strategic Governor I have ever worked with".

Buttressing further he said "aside from the infrastructural development in the state, one important thing that our Governor has done is changing the philosophy and psyche of every Akwa Ibom child. I am happy to be a part of his team"

Dr. Udo expressed appreciation to the Akwa Ibom State Youth caucus for conferment of the award. He urged them to learn from His Excellency's style of leadership and be involved in the Town hall meeting in their Federal constituency.
