Controversial Marriages In Nollywood

Snatching and marrying married men is now a trend in the entertainment industry and many people are frowning at this, many cases have happened where by the females marry men who are not properly divorced with their wives. Actress like Mercy johnson has been accused of marrying a man who is not properly divorced with his former wife, tiwa savage has been involved in this kind of scandal and so many others. This trend has now applied to the new marriage between movie producer Tchidi and his actress Nuella.

Sometime Last year, it was reported that Nollywood producer/director Tchidi and his estranged wife Sophia suddenly began to have marital problems and rumours also began around the same time that he has began a relationship with actress Nuella Njubigbo. Even as Sophia kept mentioning that Nuella was taking her man away from her, Nuella constantly kept denying any such relationship existed between her and Tchidi until March 27th when she suddenly admitted to it:

Nuella said a few months after they started dating, Tchidi proposed to her and after a very careful thought and consideration, she agreed to marry him.

Nollywood actress Nuella Njubigbo has finally married her lover, movie director/actor, Tchidi Chikere after several denials.

“Would I say no because of what people would say and damn where my heart led me to? My heart is remarkably at peace with this decision, and I am willing to take this leap of faith which every married woman has taken. Where this love will lead me I cannot say, I am not God, but, I have hope, faith and believe that it will lead me to a good place. Every one of us in this life deserves a chance to be happy. I am taking my own chance,” she said.

But for the first time Sophia Chikere, Tchidi's estranged wife and mother of his three kids, commented on the issue since her separation from her husband in 2012, describing Nuella's statement as a big lie
