Afenifere Chieftain and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant, Prince Dayo Adeyeye has urged supporters of the party in the State to remain calm, saying; "The will of God will prevail."

Adeyeye, who also pleaded with his supporters not to despair, added that the 13 aspirants that boycotted the last Saturday primary election will meet with President Goodluck Jonathan, who is the leader of the PDP to express their misgivings about the last week Ward Congresses and primary election.

In a statement issued today, Adeyeye expressed confidence that President Jonathan will right all the wrongs done in the party last week.

He said; "All that I want to urge our teeming supporters is that they should remain calm.

"I know that they are all disappointed, they are angry with the system that supported manipulation and brigandage. But we must have to be calm while we take our case to the leader of our party, President Goodluck Jonathan.

"When we explore all the options available to us within the PDP, we will come to a roundtable to discuss with our supporters and take a collective decision."

While expressing gratitude to his supporters, Adeyeye said; "I am humbled with the overwhelming and selfless support that the people gave us. The kind of support that we got was such that would have effortlessly handed us the PDP ticket if a free and fair primary election had been conducted.

"But all hopes are not lost. Let us continue to pray as we have been doing, God's will shall surely be done. "
