Eyewitness said they parked their vehicles along Nza Street and marched to the Government House's gate where they met the security operatives.
They were said to have told the security men to open the gate claiming they were at the Government House for protest, but when one the officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps opened the gate to ask why they decided to come in the night, one of the invaders attacked him with the machete and made attempts to force the gate open for his members.
Mr Achife said that one security personnel was injured while repelling the attackers.
