Dangote spoke after a meeting with Congolese President Denis Sassou Nguesso, according to a statement from the presidency.

Construction work for the factory, which will produce over 1.5 million tonnes of cement per year and create more than 650 jobs, will span two and a half years.

Dangote's investment projects across Africa, specifically in South Africa, Ethiopia, Zambia, Senegal, Mozambique and Cameroon, are worth 10 billion dollars.
