Adeyeye Hails Jonathan Over Gen. Arogbofa’s Appointment As Chief Of Staff

Former Spokesperson of Afenifere and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, Prince Dayo Adeyeye has hailed the appointment of Brig-Gen. Jones Oladeinde Arogbofa (rtd) as the new Chief of Staff to President Goodluck Jonathan, describing the appointment as well deserved.

Adeyeye, who thanked President Jonathan for finding a Yoruba son worthy of the appointment, said; he was particularly happy that the president had demonstrated once again that he is a listening leader.

The governorship aspirant, who described Brig-Gen. Arogbofa as an intelligent and hard-working officer, added that he was sure that the new Chief of Staff will give his best in the new assignment.

“This appointment is a right step in the right direction. It is putting a round peg in a round hole and I want to commend Mr President for giving us, the Yorubas this important position in his government.

“I have no doubt that Brig-Gen. Arogbofa will us and I pray that God will continue to give him the strength and wisdom to be able to give his best in this new assignment.”
