FIRST LADY DAME PATIENCE JONATHAN (L) DURING HER CONDOLENCE VISIT TO FCT MINISTER SENATOR BALA MOHAMMED (R) IN HIS RESIDENCE BEVERLY HILLS, February 16, (THEWILL) - In what appeared to be a strategic move to counter online reports that she had fallen ill and flown to a German hospital on Saturday, Nigeria's First Lady, Patience Jonathan made an appearance on Sunday at the Life Camp Abuja residence of the Minister of the FCT, Senator Bala Mohammed, where she commiserated with him and his family over the death of his elder brother, Mallam Yusuf Mohammed.

The inaccurate report of Mrs.
Jonathan's 'hospitalization' was first published by Sahara Reporters which credited its story to an unnamed presidency source.

The controversial website is however yet to correct its report since Mrs.

Jonathan appearance on Sunday.
An aide of the Minister told THEWILL that Mrs.
Jonathan was in good health and looked very comfortable throughout her visit to the Mohammed family.

Photographs obtained from the Office of the First Lady as well as the Office of the Minister of the FCT confirm this view point.

Mrs.
Jonathan in her speech described the late Mohammed as a seasoned administrator and educationist.

She urged the Minister to take heart saying, 'We cannot question God, but we must pray for the soul of the departed to rest in perfect peace with his creator.

' In his remark, Senator Mohammed thanked Mrs.
Jonathan for her visit and concern.
He described online reports of her ill-health and hospitalization as mischievous.
