Prior the inauguration of the newly appointed Transition Committee members of Local Governments in Imo State, Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere earlier today admonished the members to uphold those principles that are people friendly.

In a press release signed by Uche Onwuchekwa, Special Assistant to Imo Deputy Governor on Media, Imo Deputy Gov. Prince Madumere congratulated the incoming TC members who will be sworn in on Monday, February 17, 2014 encouraging them to work in unison. He reminded them of their role as the closest ally to the people at the grassroots. He further told to uphold justice on which Rescue Mission Government led by Governor Okorocha and All Progressives Congress are founded.

He admonished the members to play politics of inclusivity while charging them to be their brothers' keeper. He also charged them to be good Ambassadors of Rescue Mission Government by ensuring they have the policies and programmes of the government at the finger tips.

Speaking to the would-be-sworn-in TC members, Chief Marcelanus Nlemigbo, the former PDP Chairman told the members to tell the truth at all times while ensuring that they make requisite sacrifice to ensure their people are happy. He told them to remember that they are the mirror of the government.

"Politics is changing, it is no longer what it used to be in the past. Always tell the truth at all times to instill trust and confidence. You can borrow a leaf from Owelle Rochas Okorocha who is transparent and says them as they," enthused Chief Marcon.

Meanwhile, the meeting also saw His Excellency, Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere commend Engr. Jacob Ndukaku for willingly vacating his TC membership seat for Amike Ward for his brother , Rev. Ifeanyi Udeze Okwuoma. He was given a standing ovation for his act of humility and selflessness.
