APC Falters As PDP Retakes Majority In The House Of Representatives

As Five Members Of The APC Dump Party
BEVERLY HILLS, February 11, (THEWILL) -  The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has retaken the majority in the Federal House of Representatives with Tuesday's defection of five members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the ruling party.

Today's development may have crushed the APC's big push and momentum to effectively take over the House of Representatives following the crisis rocking the ruling party.

Those who defected from the APC to the PDP are: Honourables Ladan Shehu Bichi (Kano), Abdulsalam Adamu (Kano), Sani Umar Dangaladima (Zamfara), Shehu Gusau (Zamfara) and Umar Bature (Sokoto).

Hon.
Isa Mohammed Bashiru however defected to the APC from PDP.

With this development, the PDP now has majority with 178 members as against the APC's 168.
