Nigerian President Decorates Service Chiefs With New ranks


DECO, GOODLUCK DECORATING AMOSUN WITH HIS WIFE AND VP BEVERLY HILLS, February 05, (THEWILL) - President Goodluck Jonathan and his deputy, Mr.

Namadi Sambo, Wednesday decorated the newly appointed service chiefs with their new ranks at a ceremony held inside the Presidential Villa Abuja before the commencement of the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

The President assured that he would work closely with the top commanders to crush the Boko Haram and restore peace in the troubled North East.

Those decorated were the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Air Marshall Alex Badeh; Chief of Army Staff, Maj.

Kenneth Minimah; Chief of Naval Staff, Rear-Adm.
Usman Jibrin; and Chief of Air Staff, AVM Adesola Amosu.

Their decoration followed the approval of their nomination by the Senate this week.
