ENUGU STUDENTS DISGRACE AGBASO OVER A SHAMEFUL THUGGERY PLOT AGAINST IMO GOVT

Last Thursday, Martin Agbaso suffered the worst disgrace in his life in far away Enugu State as his plan to hire and conscript Enugu Students to wreck havoc in Imo State was uncovered and foiled.

One of the embattled sixty seater Marcopolo bus driver who was apprehended at IMT, Enugu State where he had gone to lift students, in his account revealed that the plot was hatched at All Progressives Grand Alliance State office, Enugu State Chapter. Mr. Uche agreed to have been paid N115, 000 to take students who were said to have been paid N4, 000 each, to Imo State, even as other bus drivers escaped with their buses.

The youths according to Mr. Uche were detailed to destroy most of the signature infrastructural facilities in Imo State. speaking further, Uche revealed that another plot was to embark on a protest with placards branding Governor Okorocha all manner of names as well as denouncing all his feats in education sector.

However, Uche got more than he bargained as he got the beating of his life as was to be lynched were it not the intervention of school security personnel.

An Imo Students in IMT, Enugu State, said the students involved are not from Imo State since they kicked against such saying nothing old have warranted that.

Imo Youth Ambassador, Comrade Samuel Godstime wondered why students who are not of Imo origin should be conscripted into army of destruction. He appreciated the courage of the Student Government President, Lovina Uju Okafor and other Student Union leaders of Institute of Management Technology, Enugu State, who showed patriotism by insisting that their students should not be used in any guise for act of thuggery.

Comrade Okere Uchenna Emmanuel, Senate President of National Union of Imo State Students chided Agabso and his party over what he described as political recklessness coming from a man who is supposedly a father who ought protect his children from such. He warned that Imo Students can longer fold their arms and watch desperate politicians conscript Students towards pursuing their selfish goal.

Okere described the purported incidence as a sign of a man who has been forsaken for his negativity and for Agbaso to have embarked in using mercenaries means he has lost the remnant of little popularity attached to his personality.

It will be recalled that Agbasos have been staging political onslaught on Governor Okorocha in concert with other APGA and PDP chieftains but has always been losing out. Agbasos were said to have embarked on impeachment of Owelle Rochas Okorocha as he worked with the Presidency and some other forces but that failed. Another development was the impeachment of Jude Agbaso as the Deputy over us alleged whiskey and over N500 million gratification.

University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus and their IMT counterpart have warned Agbaso to stay away from their campuses and vowed to deal ruthlessly to any corrupt politician that dare come close to recruit their students into their corrupt activities.

It was also learnt that Federal Polytechnic, Oko and other high institutions were also earmarked as places for recruitment.
