V.P Sambo Expresses Shock Over Death Of Albani

Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo has expressed deep shock over the

death of Sheik Muhammed Auwal Adam Albani who was killed by gunmen in

Kaduna State recently.
In a statement signed by Mallam Umar Sani, Spokesman to the Vice

President, he described the killing as senseless.
According to the Vice President, “It is with a deep sense of shock and

sadness that the Vice President, Arc Mohammed Namadi Sambo received the

sudden and tragic demise of Sheikh Muhammad Auwal Adam Albani and some

members of his family.
“The Vice President condemns in the strongest terms these senseless

killings of innocent lives by mindless assassins who have no regard for

the sanctity of human life. Arc Sambo commiserates with the family of the

deceased over this sorrowful and great loss.
“He implores members of the family of the deceased, his students and

indeed the entire Ummah to have the fortitude to bear this irreparable

loss and prays Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the departed Aljannat

firdaus.”
