NDC Guru Busted For Defilement!

A leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ayawaso central Constituency, have been busted by the police for allegedly defiling a 15 year old child!

So far, Modernghana.com has learned that the suspect, Mohammed Nurudeen, who is the Constituency Organizer of the ruling party is in custody at the Tesano. He has been remanded in police custody as investigations proceed.

Meanwhile Mobile phone dealers at the Odo Rice area at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle have said they are beginning to loose confidence in the police administration over their handling of the case of sexual assault involving the NDC Constituency Youth Organizer Mohammed Nurudeen.

According to the phone dealers, the constituency Youth Organizer raped a young girl and the matter reported to the Tesano Police Station, because there are reports to suggest that the police are contemplating granting bail to the suspect.

When this Modernghana.com contacted the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Ghana Police Service in the Greater Accra Region, they were not ready to confirm or deny that a case of that sort has been reported to their outfit.

"The police are only protecting this rapist because his government is in power and they don't want to make public the details of the case because of his reputation in the constituency," one mobile phone dealer fume with anger.
