Ghana Better Than Nigeria According To Keshi

Nigeria head coach, Stephen Keshi believes Ghana's Black Stars were better than the Super Eagles in Wednesday's second semifinal at the 2014 African Nations Championship (Chan) in South Africa.

The Super Eagles lost 1-4 on penalties to their West African rivals in a tense contest at the Free State Stadium, Mangaung.

Despite watching his side largely dominate their opponents and fluffing a plethora of chances, Keshi insists the Ghanaians were the 'better side' in Wednesday's game.

'In games like the one we played against Ghana, you just need that one chance to score.

It just didn't come (for my side) and that's how football is.

'The better side won on Wednesday and I congratulate Ghana,' Keshi told reporters after the game.

Nigeria will now meet Zimbabwe in the third place game in Cape Town on February 1.
