Imo Morality Group is faceless –Owerri Youths …Drum support for Jude Ejiogu

The Owerri Zone Youths Forum has described as faceless and non existence a group operating under the auspices of “Imo Morality Group” where one Comr. Chukwuemeka Anuforo in a comment credited to him alleged that Jude Ejiogu is the problem of Governor Rochas Okorocha's administration.

A report published in a local tabloid on Wednesday, president of the group demonstrated unintelligence, stupidity and arrogance depicting lack of respect for the elders and leaders.

But in a communiqué issued after their enlarged state Exco meeting on Wednesday, January 29th, 2014 in Owerri, Imo State capital and made available to newsmen, the Owerri Zone Youths Forum faulted the comment credited to the self-imposed president maintaining that the statement attributed to him was borne out of envy on the achievements and shining principles of the Chief of Staff and Commissioner for Special Duties in the state.

The president, an indigene of Obazu Mbieri in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo State, Barr Chinenye Uzoma warned politicians hiding under any faceless group to cast aspersion on a highly respected and adored Emekuku born servant-leader, Sir Jude Ejiogu to desist or face public embarrassment urging them to emulate the track records of the Chief of staff if they deserve the support of Imo youths.

The communiqué reads in part, “If Sir Ejiogu is the problem of this administration as alleged by the rather “Immorality Group”, why then Governor Okorocha in a reception organized in honour of the Emekuku born politician by the entire people of Owerri zone described Sir Ejiogu as a stabilizer, hard worker and a good man?”

“Recall that for the past weeks, there has been series of media attack on our cherished son, Sir Jude Ejiogu by some failed and low-skilled politicians in the state, have you ever seen or read any reply coming from him? It is to show the public that he doesn't want to join issues with his attackers, Sir Jude Ejiogu has shown high level of maturity in dealing issues of this nature, he is not over-ambitious for position, his utterances are devoid of incitement, arrogance or any act similar to these, in fact, he is a man after Governor Okorocha's heart”,

“It could be recalled that recently, members of the Owerri Zone Youths Forum had raised alarm on the concluded plot to launch media attack on Sir Jude Ejiogu hence, part of the plan has started to emerge, the public should disregard further media report of this nature with a wave of hands as Imo people and the law enforcement agents are on the watch”, the group concluded.

The group therefore advised media practitioners in the state to cross-check any report under their disposal very well to avoid fielding the general public with falsehood while portraying their platforms as junk.
